Colossians 1:15-17
All thing were created for Him and by Him.
Everything was created for the glory of God.
Money was created to primarily serve God.
Haggai 2:8
The Silver is His, and the gold is His.
The truth of the matter is that money is not bad, but the love of money is.
The truth is that things on their own, including money, are not capable of doing bad or good on their own.
Money can be used to buy sex, to murder, to kill.
Money can also be used to build homes. It can be used to advance the Kingdom of God.
Money is a tool for good.
Your income is not your salary, but your salary is part of your income.
The tithe is not yours to use. You don’t decide to do what you want with your tithe. It is a debt you pay. It is your heavenly tax.
We are all citizens of Nigeria, and also citizens of Heaven.
And every citizen has obligations to meet towards our own country.
Tax evasion is a criminal offence.
You get arrested for evading tax.
You have to pay your tax.
In God’s economy, tax evasion is robbing God.
There is a difference between a thief and a robber. A thief has a little bit of respect. The thief is scared of you.
But a robber will come to you and steal from you, forcing you to give him what you have, with arms and weapons.
One of the keys for operating under an open heaven is tithing.
As a business person, you need to tithe the net income of your business to God.
If God is your business partner in your business, how much is His share? You need to answer that question.
The tithe is the lowest amount of money God requires from you. If you cannot take care of 10%, then forget about financial dominion.
Some of us don’t tithe because we are covetous.
Another indication of Mammon worship is greed.

Money on its own is not evil. It is our attitudes to money that makes it either good or evil.
The right attitude towards money is seeing yourself as a steward.
Giving is God’s cure for covetousness. It is a sign that you trust God and not in the money.
Money is a magnificent tool in the hand of men and women of God.
For money to be good, it has to come in the hands of the right person who has a right attitude.
Whenever there is an opportunity to give, and you give, you are telling God that you trust Him above the money.
You are telling Him that your trust and your security is not in the money, but in God.
Materialism is a wron
g attitude.
Do you know that your salary is very little compared to your needs?
Most of us here, our number one prayer point is financial breakthrough. Why?
And God wants to bless us, but are we credible channels?
God wants to bless people. But He wants people who can be credible.
He wants to use these people as channels to bless His kingdom.
There is no one who has put the Kingdom first, who has done without the good things of life.
