INTEGRITY – Dominion Mandate Daily Devotional

Dominion Mandate Daily Devotional;

Job 27:5.

Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Bible in one year: Isaiah 34-39.

Without integrity everything falls out of place. What is integrity? It is defined as adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. Other words that help us understand integrity are; honour, uprightness, candour, forthrightness, goodness, honesty, honourableness, incorruptibility, probity, purity, rectitude, righteousness, sincerity, straightforwardness, virtue.

Integrity breeds trust. Trust gives easy influence over men. As a true disciple of Christ you must be able to command the trust of men so that you might be able to influence them for God. You need two things to command kingdom addition as seen in Matthew 6:33. Don’t just seek the kingdom, seek His righteousness too. Many are seeking the kingdom but don’t see the blessing and endorsement of heaven in their lives, they have abandoned the second requirement: His righteousness. Righteousness is another word for integrity. He was saying, as you seek the kingdom, don’t lose out on integrity. Pursue the two of them and every other thing shall be added unto you. It is possible to be heavily involved in kingdom work but lacking in integrity. Do not assume that your work for the kingdom should make up for your lack of character. (See Matthew 7:21-23)

PRAYER: Holy Spirit please help me to become a person of integrity. Help me not to misrepresent the kingdom in any way, so that through my life and character many will come to Jesus and your name will be glorified. In Jesus name
